Our ultimate goal is to achieve no harm for our people, our clients, and our communitiesResponsibilities :Support project managers, project engineers and designers in the preparation of detailed design for civil engineering infrastructure/utilities projectsAssist in CAD design of municipal infrastructure including Composite utility drawings, sewer, watermains, and other related workPerform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks for various infrastructure projectsCreate/compile design models and drawingsPrepare design submissions and other technical documentsCoordination with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverablesProvide assistance to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when neededEducation and Experience:Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technology co-op program at an accredited CollegeStrong CAD skills, and experience with AutoCAD/Civil3DExperience in MicroStation/OpenRoads is an assetExperience in Utility/Drainage and Pipeline design such as developing infrastructure plans and profiles is an assetComfortable working in both 2D and 3D environmentsPositive team attitude and approach, results oriented and ability to work independentlyIn good academic standingExperience in development of project layouts and civil details using AutoCAD or Bentley programs is an assetExtracurricular involvement is also considered an assetCompetencies (knowledge, skill,
