In this key role, you’ll support medication preparation and dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, and work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.Education & QualificationsCompletion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician programRegistration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with ACP in good standingCurrent CPR Certification valid in AlbertaKey ResponsibilitiesAccurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptionsConduct thorough medication reviews and assessmentsProvide medication management and patient educationMaintain and document accurate patient recordsEnsure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionalsManage inventory, including ordering and restocking medicationsAddress customer inquiries and concerns professionallyParticipate in continuous professional development and trainingExperience & SkillsPrevious experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferredStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentProficiency in managing pharmacy inventoryExperience with Kroll is an assetKnowledge of all applicable legislation and regulatory compliance standards in AlbertaNext StepsWe are excited to grow our team and look forward to welcoming dedicated professionals who share our vision and commitment to excellence.
