Pacific Peak Therapy is looking for a Part Time Rehabilitation Assistant in KamloopsDescriptionIn this role you would work with the Occupational Therapist, under their direction, to implement rehabilitation programs for clients involved in workplace incidents or motor vehicle accidents. Rehabilitations programs include:Supporting activities of daily living (cooking, cleaning, personal care, navigating the community, etc.)Physical activation programs (walking programs, gym-based exercise, home exercise programs, pool programs)Cognitive Rehabilitation support for individuals Traumatic Brain InjuryCommunity Reintegration support for individuals with Anxiety and/or DepressionRequirementsExperience supporting individual's with injuries or illnessesBackground in kinesiology or Therapist Assistant diploma is an asset but not required.Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicleMust be available during regular business hoursProficiency in using electronic systems for booking, charting and telehealthAll experience levels welcome to applyWhy Work With Us?Adaptable Work Schedule: You choose to work when it suits you best.
