Your role at DynatraceWe are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Product Management to stand up and lead the G&A workstream, owning data products that serve Finance, HR and IT. You will help craft and establish the vision, operating model and direction for the data product management capability.You will shape product strategy through a combination of stakeholder partnership and independent judgment, understanding G&A business priorities, surfacing opportunities and making prioritization tradeoffs. You will coordinate execution across analytics and BI engineering, data engineering and platform engineering and ensure data products meet the unique needs of G&A functions. You will initially operate as a hands‑on data product owner, owning stakeholder relationships, shaping roadmaps, coordinating delivery and driving adoption directly, while simultaneously establishing the practices and standards that will scale the team.Data Product Strategy & VisionShape the strategic direction for data products and data practices across the G&A workstream (Finance, HR, IT), aligning with business objectives and enterprise data strategyHelp craft and establish the vision, operating model and standards for the data product management function as a foundational member of the leadership teamDevelop the operating model for the G&A workstream: how products are managed, work is prioritized, delivery is coordinated and impact is measureAdvise G&A business and technical teams on data product strategy, surfacing opportunities and making prioritization tradeoffsDrive data discoverability across the G&A workstream, ensuring business users can easily find, understand and access data productsStakeholder Partnership & DeliveryEngage with Finance, HR and IT leaders to understand business priorities, surface data gaps and opportunities, and translate needs into data product strategy and requirementsCoordinate execution across analytics and BI engineering, data engineering and platform engineering to deliver builds, enhancements and infrastructure improvementsPartner with engineering, platform and business leadership on roadmap alignment, requirements and delivery coordinationBridge G&A business functions and the central data team, managing expectations, communicating status and driving deliveryData Quality, Governance & Platform EvolutionPartner with data governance on the implementation of data quality standards,
SLAs and governance practices for G&A data productsPropose new or revised standards for data quality, SLAs, governance and data product lifecycle management within the workstreamPartner across the data team to drive the evolution of platform, governance and data practicesSupport or lead strategic initiatives involving G&A domains, including transformation projects, platform/infrastructure improvements and AI/advanced analytics readinessFunction Building & Future Team GrowthOperate as the hands‑on data product owner for the G&A workstream, directly owning stakeholder relationships, product roadmaps, delivery coordination and adoptionEstablish the practices, standards and operating model that will define how data product management works as the function growsBuild the case for team expansion and lead hiring of data product owners as the workstream scalesCollaborate with peer data product managers to ensure consistency across shared assets, metric definitions and product management standardsCommunicate progress, risks and recommendations to senior leadership and across stakeholder groupsThis is a remote position within Canada. Must be willing to work EST hours.What will help you succeedMinimum Requirements8+ years of experience in data roles (data product management, data analytics, business intelligence or data management roles) with 3+ years managing teamsStrong familiarity with G&A domains (Finance, HR, IT), including their business operations, data needs, data management practices, key metrics and reporting requirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related fieldPreferred RequirementsProven ability to build trusted partnerships with business leaders and translate business priorities into data product strategyDeep understanding of data management and analytics concepts including data modeling, data pipelines, data quality, governance and BI toolingExperience establishing or scaling data product, data management,
analytics or BI functionsExceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels from individual contributors to senior leadershipStrategic mindset with the ability to shape function direction while remaining hands‑on during the build phaseStrong proficiency in SQL and experience working with enterprise data environmentsExperience with Snowflake, dbt, Power BI or comparable modern data platform technologiesExperience with Finance data domains including revenue recognition, financial reporting, FP&A, procurement or HR analyticsExperience with data management practices for handling PII dataExperience defining data quality standards, SLAs or data contracts for analytical data productsExperience working with enterprise systems such as financial platforms (NetSuite), HRIS (Successfactors) or IT service management toolsFamiliarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements (e.G.
