Cruz Motors is looking for a motivated entry-level Automotive Technician to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in automotive repair, and wants to build a career in the trade. We’re willing to train the right person and help you develop your skills in a qualified, hands-on shop environment.

Automotive experience is an asset, but a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and good attitude are more important than experience.

What You'll Do

- Assist experienced technicians and develop skills with vehicle inspections, diagnosis, and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire changes and rotations, brake work, and fluid services
- Develop skills in suspension, steering, and exhaust repair
- Learn to properly use hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic equipment.
- Follow proper safety procedures when working with vehicles, tools, lifts, and equipment.
- Help keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Learn proper repair procedures and develop your automotive knowledge through hands-on experience.

What We're Looking For





- An interest in automotive repair and learning the trade.
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Previous shop, automotive, or mechanical experience is an asset.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and willing to learn how to use additional shop equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when given direction.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work.
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment and safely lift and handle automotive parts and equipment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Class 5 driver's licence
