OverviewE*TRADE by Morgan Stanley Mobile Product Manager – Assistant Vice PresidentWealth Management PlatformsCalgaryWhat You’ll Do In The RoleExecution for E*TRADE Mobile API SquadBuild and maintain prioritized product backlog – identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints; Support backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements and drive consensus with squad and program stakeholdersWork closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of key product releasesConduct hands-on functional testing and validation of business requirements in conjunction with Quality Assurance teamsCollaborate with key stakeholders from business, technology, UX, risk, cyber & fraud, communications, legal & compliance to elicit requirementsOwn release management of your channel by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet release deadlinesCoordinate with 5 other Mobile Product Owners to manage overall API release scope and ensure API releases are meeting release-date deadlinesMap out key release dependencies to ensure team is releasing features in sequential orderPrepare presentations, user demos, and status updatesProduction Support for E*TRADE iOS and Android E*TRADE AppsAct as the Mobile Team Liaison between all mobile Product Owners and internal client services team to triage issues with clients and communicate workarounds where applicableMonitor qualitative and quantitative feedback channels following releases to identify and triage potential issues across Android and iOS mobile applicationsCoordinate with the entire Mobile PO team to prepare and report weekly on issue statuses with a focus on remediation plans, issue severity and impacted audiencesMonitor client “wants” to determine and track trends in client feedback for enhancement ideasPartner with Marketing team to monitor all feedback channels (i.E. App stores, ratings prompts)



to determine trends and plan for feedback campaignsRoadmap & Strategy for E*TRADE Mobile APICollaborate with iOS and Android Product Owners on enhancements that require Mobile API updatesKeep in tune with wealth management industry competitor activity and trends related to mobileGather, organize, and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements, and new featuresContribute to business justification for key new features and funding requests, factoring in customer needs, quantitative business case projections, and the competitive landscapeTrack and communicate progress on core mobile KPIsSkills Required2-5 years of experience as software or digital product manager, business analyst or equivalent with experience working within an agile/scrum development processProficient at defining, analyzing, documenting, and communicating product and software requirements in an agile software development settingKeen intellect – ability to gather, analyze and synthesize a significant amount of information, and turn it into clear and actionable product requirementsNaturally curious, analytical, and data-driven – demonstrated track record of utilizing data to measure performance, identify opportunities, and make successful decisionsExperience collaborating with UI/UX designers and developers to deliver client-friendly products and user experiencesUnderstanding and knowledge of web and mobile technologiesWritten and verbal communication skills able to effectively interact and influence a diverse set of business and technical stakeholdersEfficient at managing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently under deadline constraintsSelf-motivated, detailed-oriented, team player, and organizedKnowledge or exposure to wealth management and online brokerage/banking preferredWhat You Can Expect From Morgan StanleyAt Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
