Develop performance standards for all supervised staff and ensure employees deliver prompt and courteous service promoting a professional patient environment. accounting policies and legislative requirements are metResolve inquiries and complaints from employees and management arising from interpretations of payroll regulationsReconcile, verify and distribute payroll as requiredAdminister payroll from the input of data, improve payroll tracking as a result of changes in payroll policyTroubleshoot payroll issues, prepare journal entries and balance to the general ledgerPrepare year-end reporting (year-end balancing, T4 reconciliation, EHT reconciliation, WSIB reconciliation, T2200)Maintain employee profiles in the payroll systemProcess enrollments, changes, terminations and ensure information is accurate and up to dateLiaise with Human Resources to ensure all eligible employees are registered on benefitsPlan administrator for Canada Savings Bonds, including running and implementing the annual campaignMaintain current working knowledge of legislative regulations governing payroll practices and employment law and ensure that all payroll initiatives are implemented in compliance with the regulationsAdminister executive payroll and liaise directly with executive groupSolve payroll issues (i.E. transmittal problems, employee issues, etc.)Provide support to Finance in projects to ensure seamless service delivery, operational efficiency analysis across divisionsEnsure compliance to payroll policies and accuracy of all financial analysisEnsure employee files are up to date (CMLTO registration, disciplinary action, offer letters, etc.)Assist with financial planning and budgetary control for the departmentProduce statistical and financial reports for Finance,



Management and various operational departments and government agencies on a scheduled basisIssue and record all confidential accounts payables (i.E. recruitment fees, DOT payments, Garnishes, legal fees, etc.)Produce ad-hoc financial analysis for various payroll and employee issuesWhat YOU bring to the role:Canadian Payroll Designation and previous supervisory experience5 years of related experience required in Payroll fieldProficiency in MS Office suite (MS-Excel)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with ability to manage multiple projects and respond to changing priorities and deadlinesStrong problem solving skills and ability to perform under pressureAbility to respond to employees and management needs often in stressful situationWorking conditions:Normal office environmentHybridPay rate: $80,000 to $105,000 annuallyThe hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.Passionate about supporting healthy lives with commitment and care?
