Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Barback to support our bar team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will assist bartenders by maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality and food service industry, working in a quick-paced environment that values teamwork and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

- Restock bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure the bar is fully equipped for service
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste properly
- Assist bartenders in preparing garnishes and basic food items as needed
- Support with ice management by filling ice bins and ensuring adequate ice supply throughout shifts
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times




- Respond promptly to bartender requests for tools or supplies during service
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar at opening and closing shifts

Experience

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Previous roles in guest services or as a barista can provide valuable skills for this position
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team are essential
- Experience in hotel or catering services may be beneficial
