One vacancy isfull-time, permanent, and the second vacancy is a 12‑month contract. The Compensation Specialist will administer salaried compensation programs and data‑related projects and processes such as merit and incentive cycles, and compensation surveys. This role will also be responsible for working with various levels within the organization completing job analyses and evaluations, and supporting market pricing, salary budgets, and planning analysis.LocationThis position is based at the Company’s Corporate Office. Regular in‑person attendance is required, with a minimum of three (3) days per week in the office. Our Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON.What You’ll Be DoingConduct job analysis for salaried and non‑union roles through interviews, questionnaires,
and job shadowingDevelop job descriptions based on job analysisUpdate and maintain job description library with new and/or revised job descriptions; update and maintain jobdescription Matrix with organizational changesLaunch merit and incentive programsUpdate annual incentive documents and distribute to employees accordinglyParticipate in the ongoing development of compensation processes enabling the delivery of competitive and effective compensation/rewards programsProvide advanced analytical and project support in the design, development, implementation, and enhancements of compensation programsSupport a variety of initiatives through rigorous assessment of data, trends, cost and program analysis; look for opportunities for improvements and efficienciesConduct analysis and research to ensure complianceCompile relevant and current compensation and benefit dataParticipate in market surveys relating to direct and variable salaried compensationAssists with the calculation and preparation of annual salary budgetsAssists in the co‑ordination of divisional budgetsOther related duties and projects as assignedWho You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceEducationCompletion of a Post‑Secondary Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance or related disciplineExperienceMinimum 3‑5 years experience in compensation, working with merit and variable compensation pay plans, salary structure and administration, and market analysisMinimum 2 years experience in job analysis, documentation, and evaluation using a point factor system; experience with Korn Ferry Hay Group methodology is preferableExperience working with an HRIS system, preferably SAP SuccessFactorsSkillsGood understanding and knowledge of compensation theory and program design, including job evaluation, salary structures, incentive compensation and merit pay programsProficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet creation and manipulation - MS Excel (pivot tables, function formulas, macros)Superior analytical and problem‑solving skills,
attention to detail and high degree of accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees across all levels of the organizationCompensationSalary range?
