Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply.We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our Investment Finance and Valuations team in Toronto.In this role, you will be responsible for activities that support the valuation and analysis of OMERS private equity investments. Primary responsibilities include development of valuation models and reporting, asset and portfolio analytics and various other activities in support of both the Finance and Investment teams, as required.To support these responsibilities, the successful candidate must have a growth mindset, and strong interpersonal skills coupled with experience in financial reporting and analysis and financial modeling.We believe that time together in the office is important for OMERS and Oxford, the strength of our employees, and the work we do for our pension members. Our versatile hybrid work guideline requires teams to come to the office a minimum of 4 days per week.ResponsibilitiesPreparing private equity portfolio investment valuations on a quarterly basis,



including the development of valuation models (e.G., discounted cash flow and comparable company / precedent transaction approaches) and drafting reportingIdentifying and understanding value drivers and investment risks across portfolio assetsCollecting market data using CapitalIQ and Bloomberg as well as performing other industry and market research to inform portfolio valuationsLiaising with Investment and Risk Teams to review past performance, strategy, outlook, regulatory and other relevant and emerging issues that impact the valuation of portfolio investmentsPerforming asset and/or portfolio level sensitivities to understand the valuation impact of changes in assumptionsMonitoring market events and analyzing the potential impact these events may have on portfolio asset valuationsWorking with external auditors and independent valuators to support valuation conclusionsAssisting with other financial reporting valuation requirements or other valuations disclosuresProviding ongoing assistance to the Finance Team, Investment Team, Risk team or other corporate functions, as requiredAssisting with the preparation of internal and external financial reports prepared by the Finance Reporting Team, as requiredParticipating in other special projects, as requiredQualificationsUndergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline2-3 years of relevant valuation experienceChartered Business Valuation (CBV) and other professional designations such as the CPA or CFA designation, or enrollment in either program of studies,
