Job SummaryAs an integral part of supply chain management, this role focuses on the daily execution and continuous improvement of the movement and storage of warehouse‑managed materials and products to achieve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service experience. The position is for the midnight shift, 10:40 PM – 6:40 AM.Job ResponsibilitiesManage a shift schedule to meet customer supply needs for raw materials, components, semi‑finished and finished products, including attendance management and overtime scheduling.Supervise and provide direction to Coordinators, Technicians and Samplers, creating a positive and engaged team environment and ensuring daily activities meet or exceed service level agreements.Analyze daily productivity, on‑time delivery and other KPIs, and execute action plans to improve performance.Ensure cycle counts are completed regularly, addressing discrepancies with Inventory and Warehouse teams.Act as the lead user of all SAP modules (MM, WM, IM, QM), maintaining data integrity, troubleshooting and reconciling discrepancies, and managing system change impacts.Lead and approve Warehouse Operations investigations, ensuring root‑cause identification, corrective and preventive actions.Account for warehouse capacity management, optimizing processes such as disposal authorizations and third‑party storage.Use systems and metrics to guide safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives supporting operational business objectives.Facilitate cross‑functional communication with supply chain, production, packaging, sales, customer service, traffic, quality and external suppliers.Back up the Manager, Warehouse Operations as required.Participate in performance conversations with employees, including monthly one‑on‑ones, to set expectations and reinforce a high‑performance culture.Build trust‑based relationships through open, honest,
two‑way communication with employees, partners and direct leaders.Create a culture that values trust and supports employee development and growth.Attract and hire talent consistently, onboarding new employees with a consistent experience reflecting company values.Ensure team members comply with all compliance programs and company policies.Perform any other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducation: Post‑secondary diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain or related field; equivalent experience considered. Planning experience an asset. Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs, safety and logistics management.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProven success in motivating, coaching, problem‑solving, decision‑making, prioritizing and achieving results through others.Strong customer‑orientated attitude with analytical thinking.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Capacity to build consensus with cross‑functional personnel.Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.Competency in applying complex logistics technologies and equipment.Flexibility to rotate among shifts and/or locations.Hands‑on experience with internet, email, MS Office, and SAP (or equivalent), ideally extensive experience with SAP WM and/or SAP MM.ExperienceMinimum five years of logistics/warehouse experience, including a leadership role, ideally in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry.Benefits & CompensationThe hiring range for this position is $72,285–$96,380 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
