Project/Release Management, Build and Release, etc.).Provide on‐call production support for payment platform applications.A day in the lifeYou will design, build, and improve backend services for Amazon's payment methods platform. Working with engineers and product partners, you'll write code, review designs, and evolve plugin‐based workflows that enable consistent payment experiences across Amazon businesses.You'll participate in design and code reviews, refine system architecture with senior engineer guidance, and join operational rotations to monitor service health and resolve production issues. Your work will support services managing hundreds of payment methods and millions of daily customer interactions, enabling Amazon to launch new payment capabilities.Basic Qualifications3+ years of non‐internship professional software development experience.2+ years of non‐internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.Experience programming with at least one software programming language.Preferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing,
