ACADEMIC PROGRAM ASSISTANT (BAND LEVEL 4)Division of Biomedical Sciences (Graduate Programs)Faculty of Medicine(Full-time, Contractual to March 12, 2027)This competition may be used to fill identical positions in this unit within three (3) months of the closing dateAll qualified employees are welcome to apply, however preference is given to CUPE membersResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to the Graduate Coordinators and Programs in the Division of Biomedical Sciences (Bioscience of Health and Disease, Cardiovascular & Renal Sciences; Human Genetics and Genomics, Immunology & Infectious Diseases and Neurosciences).Liaise with the BioMedical Sciences (BMS) Graduate Coordinators and coordinate the admissions process for BMS graduate programs.Act as the primary point of contact for graduate students, liaising between students and the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.Coordinate inquiries regarding graduate programs, providing assistance to students.Implement, maintain, track, and update a database of students registered in BMS graduate programs and related information.Distribute notices to faculty and graduate students; assist in planning and organization of courses.Typify course outlines, materials, letters, forms, reports, and other documents; format materials and reports for presentations.Ensure program guidelines, deadlines, and schedules are followed.Respond in person, by telephone,
