You'll work with some of the most fundamental data at Stripe, and use that data to help drive company-wide initiatives. We have a variety of Data Analytics roles and teams across Stripe and will seek to align you to the most relevant team based on your background.What you'll doIn this role, you'll partner deeply with teams across Stripe to ensure that our users, our products, and our business have the models, data products, and insights needed to make decisions and grow responsibly. You'll work closely with partners to extract insights from the rich and complex data at Stripe. You'll also work with leaders to translate business needs into data problems. You'll build metrics, scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to inform and run the business. You'll deliver actionable business recommendations through analyses and data storytelling.Who you areWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum RequirementsMS/MA + 2 years or BS/BA + 3 years of full-time experience exclusive of internships in Business Intelligence Engineering, Data Analyst, and Business Analyst rolesProficiency in SQLProven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with great attention to detailAbility to clearly communicate results and drive impactAbility to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to generate actionable insights based on stakeholder requirementsExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic insights, benchmarks, and analyses that provide recommendationsAbility to enable stakeholders and partners by building self-service tooling and providing training to empower stakeholder teams to be data literate and self-sufficient in autonomous reporting capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsPrior experience at a growth-stage internet or software companyExperience with distributed data frameworks like Spark to write and debug data pipelinesGood understanding of development processes and best practices like engineering standards, code reviews, and testingStrong statistical knowledgeWorking knowledge of PythonExperience creating leadership-level reporting, such as QBRs, MBRsProficiency with AI tools to accelerate model development, analysis, and codingIn-office expectationsOffice-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example,
Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.Pay and benefitsThe annual salary range for this role in the primary location is CA$121,100 - CA$181,700. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant's location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
