Job DescriptionResponsible for responding and resolving service calls, providing technical support, and troubleshooting various issues for our customers, for Honeywell’s HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire, and security systems. Additional responsibilities may also include technical delivery of small service jobs, preventative maintenance, customer training and installations. You will also be responsible for ensuring the necessary paperwork is accurate, timely and thoroughly completed with minimal supervision.ResponsibilitiesVerify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements including testing, calibrating verify system and peripheral device operations as per preventative maintenance schedule.Complete documentation of all work done, including all readings, offsets, etc.Perform system backups, install appropriate updates and patchesMaintain customer system documentation with any configuration or model changes.Respond to emergency service calls as requiredKeep abreast of changes and recent developments in product and preventive maintenance techniquesAvailability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as requiredCustomer ManagementPromote, build and maintain good customer relationsKeep Supervisor informed of customer requirements, systems status, and actual, potential or perceived customer problemsDemonstrate system and provide training to customers as requiredBe aware of service contract scope of service, equipment coverages, and requirementsHealth And SafetyCarry out site hazard and risk assessments for Honeywell tasks,
including proper use of safety personal protective equipmentAdministrative ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for Honeywell’s assets such as tools, software, and site databaseKeep documentation and paperwork up-to-dateReal time job reportingQualificationsYOU MUST HAVE1 or more years of field experience in HVAC or security experience, automation controls, life safety, and security systemsPost-secondary education in electronics or technical field.Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health ActValid G Driver License.WE VALUEPrevious customer service experienceIT experience (networking)Fire Safety (CFAA)Good written and oral communicationAbility to follow instructions and identify mistakesBachelor’s degree or technical/professional certificateGood presentation skills.BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 in London, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
