Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for aStrategic Sourcing Specialistto support a large Canadian organization embarking on a major supply chain transformation.This role will play a key part in helping the supply chain team manage high volumes of vendor sourcing activity, improve procurement strategy, and drive better value from supplier relationships.You'll work cross-functionally to support operations while identifying opportunities to streamline costs and processes—particularly in corporate travel and system implementation initiatives.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal teams to define procurement strategies and scopes of workLead end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFPs and RFQsMaintain a robust vendor database and track current contractsNegotiate supplier agreements with a focus on cost savings and service improvementsIdentify areas for contract optimization across business units for the corporate travel categoryManage procurement activities for corporate travel programs (airfare, hotels, car rentals, travel management companies)Serve as a procurement SME for system implementation projects, advising on workflows, approvals, and sourcing strategiesParticipate in system design sessions to align procurement processes with platform capabilitiesSupport testing,
