About The RoleWe are seeking aSenior Pension Analyst, Merged Plansto be the front‑line pension administrator responsible for providing employers with technical support and guidance to facilitate the administration of the CAAT Pension Plan.The Merged Plans team works with Third Party Administrators who perform administrative duties and interact with CAAT for review, sign off, questions and ensure consistent standards are maintained.This role is responsible for performing annual data management, member statement activities and contribution reconciliation processing. The Senior Pension Analyst acts as a role model and mentor to Merged Plans team members, supports training new staff, and is a contact within the team to assist with complex questions, escalated or high‑profile cases.ResponsibilitiesProcess and complete data management and statement activities to deliver pension administration services in accordance with established service standards, processes, and procedures.Perform activities relating to annual member statements and contribution reconciliation processes, including testing of annual statement results from third parties and updating templates as required.Provide day‑to‑day support to Employer administrators, responding to questions and providing technical support where required; liaise with internal staff to provide timely responses.Conduct monthly status meetings with each assigned Employer, tracking and resolving issues to achieve a high level of client satisfaction with Plan services.Support Pension Analysts with escalated queries from Employers, collaborating cross‑functionally as required.Become an expert in plan provisions of assigned employers,



facilitate onboarding of current merger‑assigned employers, and participate in activities related to asset transfer.Plan and participate in Member and Employer presentations and trainings both virtually and in‑person.QualificationsMinimum five (5) years experience in MEPP or public sector pension administration, or with an outsourcing service provider; understanding of pension administration systems and working with pension plan texts.A College Diploma or University Degree is required, with CEBS, PPAC or CBP considered asset designations.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and mathematical aptitude.Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data analysis techniques.The proven ability to problem‑solve and manage time effectively.Excellent oral and written communication skills.SalaryTarget hiring salary: $96,800.00 – $113,800.00.BenefitsOpportunities to Build a Better You: unlimited learning and skill development.Comprehensive & Holistic Care: a Total Rewards program covering physical, mental, financial wellness, flexible work arrangements, comprehensive benefits and a defined benefit pension plan.A Place to Collaborate and Win: a lively environment recognized among Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures.Work that Truly Matters: provide Canadians better retirement security and add value for organizations.Equal OpportunityCAAT Pension Plan is an equal opportunity employer.
