with a score of 90% or aboveJob Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Engineering Drafting Specialist will work within a team of engineers and developers to perform one or more of the following:Be part of a product development team working on support of current products and new product development initiativesDevelop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other dataComplete documentation packages and produce drawing sets to support contracts and tender documentsCheck and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design dataPerform calculations and analyses under supervisionOperate CAD and drafting workstationsParticipate in design reviews for recent parts and products when requiredAssist in any other duties as required by the Drawing Team Leader and Engineering ManagerEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university2-3 years of proven relevant working experience in the area of engineering design and draft technology using SolidWorks for 3D solid modelling and 2D drawing/detailingMust be enrolled in the Engineering-In-Training (EIT) Program from Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)Working knowledge of drafting standards (e.G., ASME Y14.5) and GD&TWorking knowledge of furniture design and development preferredWorking knowledge of SolidWorks PDM an assetSolidWorks certificationSalary$57,500 to $60,000 per year ($29.5/hr to $31/hr)Work Location122A East Beaver Creek Road, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1G6#J-18808-Ljbffr
