Department of FinanceNunavut Tunngavik IncorporatedLocated in Rankin Inlet, NUResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Senior Advisor – Finance is responsible for assisting the CFO with overseeing the controllership function within the NTI Group of Companies, ensuring financial data is accurate and timely; supporting the treasuryfunction, which includes cash management, investments and borrowing; actively supervising personnel; providing professional and managerial leadership to the CFO team as delegated by the CFO and, when required, acting with the delegated authority of the CFO as directed.QualificationsManagement studies diploma or equivalent; minimum of five (5)



years’ experience in a senior accounting position.Positive understanding of Not-for-Profit accounting and audit procedures; strong work ethicand highly motivated with the ability to work with demanding deadlines.Good interpersonal, organizational and team-building skills; effective oral and written communication skills in English, Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun is an asset.Working knowledge of computer software packages including Sage 50, Sage 300, and Microsoft Office.Preference will be given to Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.BenefitsStarting salary is $159,300.00 per annum (commensurate with experience).Comprehensive benefit package including an employee pension plan, group insurance and vacation travel assistance.Housing allowance of $35,865.00 per annum.Closing date: May 15, 2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
