Registered pharmacy technicians largely support drug distribution freeing up the pharmacists to focus on patient pharmacotherapy monitoring and education, antimicrobial stewardship, drug information and ensuring patient safety with respect to medication management.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will possess the following key competencies:Bachelor of Science in PharmacyCurrent registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A) and current license to practice in OntarioStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsNature of work requires the ability to:Multitask in a busy environmentSupport pharmacy technicians with drug distribution and collection of the BPMHWork independently and in an inter‑professional team settingProvide direct patient care supported by accurate and concise documentationCollaborate with other pharmacists daily to ensure positive patient outcomesExperience with Meditech Expanse preferredDemonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance historyASSETSBilingual - English and FrenchHospital Residency or Hospital Pharmacy experienceHOURS OF WORKPermanent Casual. Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
