Duties include reviewing and revising safety documentation, as well as supporting workplace health and safety programs through education and mentoring to various levels of the organization. The successful candidate will be expected to be an active member of our Emergency Response Program.In This Role, You WillWork as a member of the health and safety team.Be responsible for safety program data collection and management.Participate in workplace inspections and work with people to help them better understand safe workplace requirements.Once qualified, participate in confined space testing.Attend safety toolbox meetings and present safety-related topics.Take an active role in hazard identification and recommend corrective actions.RequiredDiploma or certificate in occupational health and safety or a related field; Two to four years of relevant work experience; Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; andWork a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.Applicants will be considered for a level within the job progression which is appropriate to their qualifications.RecommendedConstruction Safety Officer designation; Emergency ResponseTeam (ERT)
