Position Title: Project Finance Senior ManagerLocation: Courtice, ON, CA Oshawa, ON, CAOperating Sector: FinanceWhat You’ll DoProvides financial reporting to meet customer, partner, and site team requirementsReviews monthly project forecasts, manages the month-end closed deliverables for the Aecon-managed General Partnerships, and facilitates month-end and ongoing project reporting as requiredParticipates in Quarterly forecasts / Annual Business Plans / BudgetsReviews partner invoices for completion and accurate costing, oversees billing to the clientHelps resolve any disputed billings and takes steps necessary to ensure the timely release of payments from the clientEnsures job costs are monitored and forecastedResponsible for foreign exchange projection and initiating any hedges or Letters of Credit required in conjunction with the Aecon Treasury teamParticipates in the gathering of financial information needed for claims or change order requestsReviews contracts and changes for commercial terms, including insurance requirements and provides advice on how to mitigate risk in these areasSupports GP Project management with strategic planning and business case analysisDelivers monthly project financial updates in leadership forumsResponsible for reviewing cash flow forecasts with site teams and GP partner finance teamsIdentifying efficiencies, enhancing processes and working files to provide high‑quality, timely informationMentoring Project Finance team and junior staffGP Project finance and Payroll staffWhat You Bring to the TeamPost‑secondary school education in business or equivalent experienceAdvanced working knowledge of an ERP and Excel,



with experience with SAP an assetCompletion of a post‑secondary degree and Accounting DesignationMinimum of 5 to 7 years of post‑qualification related experience, ideally in the construction and/or manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of IFRS, including technical accounting and reporting requirements.The right individual for this role will have strong leadership skills, be a highly motivated, team‑oriented person who enjoys building relationships and working with Operations teams towards a common goal.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) are extremely significant in this role.External Auditors (Financial, ISO, etc.)Pay range: $120,000 - $140,000.We strongly encourage applicants who identify as Indigenous to apply to work with us on the Darlington New Nuclear Project.
