The starting pay rate is $20.75/hour with eligibility for an afternoon shift premium of $1.50/hour where applicable (DC roles only). An incentive target of $1,500.00 is also available, contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. The stated range reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience and skills. The company reserves the right to amend its compensation and benefits programs at any time in accordance with applicable law.ResponsibilitiesDeliver product to destination in a safe mannerLoad and unload freight on a regular basisComplete circle checks of vehicles daily before driving and complete daily logs as requiredEnsure proper usage of straps, ropes, strapping,



banding and tie-downs to minimize damage in transportationReport all accidents, incidents and near misses to leaderFill packing slips from the printer, taking into consideration priority shipments and delivery timesPack orders according to shipment requests and to prevent damages, following all messages and ship datesMaintain cleanliness in the warehousePlace packages in appropriate staging area with packing slip in delivery binAssist counter area, receiving and other warehouse personnel as requiredConduct circle checks of forkliftsAssist with special warehouse project work as requiredFollow all safety protocols in compliance with WFS Health and Safety policies and proceduresFollow all Safety protocols of the Occupational Health and Safety ActAll other duties as assignedQualificationsGrade 12 Diploma or equivalent experience requiredPossession of a valid G license required; a valid DZ license would be considered an assetClean driver’s abstractExperience in a warehouse environment, shipping/receiving, driving, etc.
