Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and results driven Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst for a 12month contract to support financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision making across the organization. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering, and will hold a CPA designation.Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role serves as a trusted finance partner to senior and operational leaders, providing insights that drive financial and operational performance. The Senior FP&A Analyst is expected to work independently, lead complex analyses, and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations. Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to challenge assumptions and identify root causes are essential for success in this role.ResponsibilitiesBudgeting & ForecastingLead the preparation of forecasts in close partnership with business leaders, including review and presentation to Senior ManagementDesign, maintain, and enhance revenue and cost driver–based forecasting and budgeting models to support decision makingFinancial ReportingOwn the timely submission of all monthly and quarterly business reporting, working collaboratively with the Finance teamDesign, develop, and continuously improve financial reports and dashboards to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance for business and senior leadership decision‑makingSupport the monthly and quarterly financial close process as required, including preparation and review of journal entries and accrualsDeliver insightful revenue analysis, KPI reporting, and P&L analysis with clear commentary and variance explanationsBusiness Case Development & PricingLead pricing and financial analysis for new contracts, renewals,
and RFP submissionsAct as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing guidance on day to day inquiries and ad hoc financial analysisAdvanced Analytics & Executive CommunicationApply advanced quantitative and statistical techniques (e.G., simulations, regression analysis) to assess performance, identify opportunities, and quantify riskProactively identify opportunities for business improvement through collaboration with cross functional teamsSynthesize complex financial and technical analysis into clear, actionable insights and presentations tailored to senior and non‑financial stakeholdersRequirementsCPA designation requiredMinimum of five years of progressive experience, preferably within an industry environmentStrong expertise in costing, pricing, financial analysis, and management reportingProven ability to deliver results while managing competing priorities and evolving business needsAdvanced technical proficiency, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills; experience with Workday, Power BI, and Adaptive Insights is considered an assetStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detailCollaborative, positive team player with the ability to work effectively across functionsExperience applying AI‑enabled tools in day‑to‑day work (e.G., data analysis, drafting, summarization, automation) is an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills,
