This role includes preparing and administering traditional medicines, supporting clients in healing, and working closely with the Health & Wellness Services teams to integrate traditional approaches with western health care where appropriate.This full‑time permanent position is not part of any bargaining unit. 35QualificationsA combination of skills, education and life learning specific to traditional knowledge will be considered. Preferred candidate has completed a post‑secondary education program; preference in area of Indigenous Studies, Health or related Human Services with a minimum 3 years' experience in Traditional programming for children and their families.An individual who is of Anishinaabe ancestry with understanding, practice and sharing of Anishinaabe history, culture, traditions, ceremonies, and values is preferred.Preferred 3–5 years of experience developing and delivering cultural or traditional medicine programming.
