Landscape Specialist (Planting / Softscape)Garden City Tree & Landscape is seeking a skilled and motivated Softscape Specialist to join our growing team. This role blends hands‑on landscape construction, plant knowledge, and softscape installation.If you enjoy working outdoors, have a strong understanding of plant care, and can confidently plan and place plant material to enhance a space — we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain softscape elements including trees, shrubs, perennials, and sodPerform planting, transplanting, soil preparation, and garden bed constructionAssist with layout and design of planting areas, including plant placement and spacingSketch simple planting plans or enhancement concepts for projectsIdentify plant species and diagnose plant health issuesApply proper plant care techniques including watering, pruning, and fertilizationWork alongside construction crews on landscape buildsFollow landscape plans and ensure high-quality installationsQualificationsHands on experience in landscaping, horticulture, nursery work,
