Job Title: Talent Acquisition Business Partner – Utilities | Job ID: 85832 | Location: Toronto, OntarioWhat you will be doing:Conduct full‐cycle recruitment for roles including sourcing, screening resumes, conducting telephone screens and interviews, reference checks, composing and extending job offers.Identify strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of candidates for assigned portfolio.Establish connections, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect talent through your network.Provide trusted advice to hiring managers using diverse interview and assessment techniques to validate candidate experience levels.Consult with hiring managers and provide updates on the labor market, candidate availability, sourcing methods, recruitment risks, relocation packages, and more.Communicate on a regular basis with the business to understand and forecast recruitment needs and initiatives.Assist and consult on the development of job descriptions and job postings.Guide candidates throughout the recruitment process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience in partnership with the Human Resources Administrator.Identify opportunities for process improvement.Use recruitment data and metrics to gain valuable insights into recruitment trends and incorporate into overall recruitment strategies.Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.Create and execute an external sourcing plan to build a strong, diverse talent pool and successfully identify, attract,



and source/hire qualified talent.Take initiative to develop a strong understanding of the workforce planning needs and talent roadmap of Aecon's sector and industry segments.Ensure all candidate data and information is captured and saved in ATS, and leverage collaborative sourcing/recruitment tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed daily.Build and maintain brand awareness, a network of industry contacts, and strategic external partnerships.What you must have:5+ years recruitment experience with at least 3 years leading end‐to‐end recruitment efforts.Post‐secondary education in Human Resources or business‐related area – an asset.Exceptional organization and emerging project management skills with proven ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment.Solid verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make recommendations and influence outcomes.Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders.Collaborative self‐starter and creative problem solver.Experience with sourcing tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter.Experience working on hard‐to‐fill roles and high‐volume sourcing scenarios.Able to operate independently to create recruitment sourcing pipelines and build a talent community.Demonstrated proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Preference for Construction, infrastructure, or related industry experience.Salary/Rate Range: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
