Waterton’s technical team works closely with site operations, engineering consultants, and corporate stakeholders to optimize asset performance and advance projects through engineering, construction, and eventual operations.About the RoleThe Mineral Processing Manager will support the corporate technical team in providing metallurgical and processing support across Waterton’s operating and development assets. Based in Toronto, this role will work closely with the Director of Metallurgy & Process Development to support operational performance improvement, engineering review, and metallurgical analysis activities.The position will focus on:Operational metallurgical support for an operating Cu/Mo flotation concentratorMetallurgical and engineering support for a large-scale gold heap leach development projectDay‑to‑day technical support for corporate metallurgical initiativesCross‑disciplinary collaboration with geology, mining, engineering, permitting and finance teamsThe role provides exposure to both operational improvement in an active processing plant and engineering and procurement workflows for a major development project,



with future involvement in project commissioning and operating activities.ResponsibilitiesOperational Metallurgical SupportProvide metallurgical and analytical support to improve plant performance and stability at an operating flotation concentrator.Analyze plant performance data including recovery, grade, throughput, and operating stabilitySupport debottlenecking and process optimization studiesMaintain performance tracking tools and KPIsEvaluate circuit performance including grinding, flotation, thickening, and concentrate handlingSupport reagent strategy evaluation and metallurgical testwork interpretationParticipate in site visits and technical plant reviewsAssist in troubleshooting metallurgical and process related operational issuesPrepare technical reports and recommendations to support operational improvement initiativesDevelopment Project Metallurgical SupportSupport the metallurgical and process scope of a gold heap leach project during engineering and procurement.Review process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs;, equipment specifications, and vendor packagesSupport metallurgical aspects of circuit designAssist with process design validation and metallurgical testwork interpretationSupport evaluation of equipment sizing and design criteriaParticipate in technical discussions with engineering consultants and vendorsAssist with identification and mitigation of metallurgical and process risksFuture development opportunities include participation in commissioning planning and operational readiness activities as the project advances.Corporate Metallurgical SupportProvide day‑to‑day technical support to the corporate metallurgy and processing function.Preparation of technical memoranda and metallurgical summariesSupport technical due diligence and internal project evaluationsAssist with coordination and review of metallurgical testwork programsSupport preparation and organization of technical data packagesMaintain and organize metallurgical datasets and process performance informationWork closely with multiple technical and commercial groups within Waterton.
