Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of various building projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to creating safe, high-quality structures while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to support carpentry, framing, and finishing tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to follow project specifications accurately
- Perform tasks related to restoration, painting, caulking, and tile laying to enhance building finishes
- Support plumbing, flooring installation, and welding activities as directed by supervisors or skilled tradespeople




- Maintain a clean and secure work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols at all times and report any hazards or incidents immediately

Requirements

- Prior construction experience or a strong willingness to learn on the job
- Familiarity with hand tools, caulking, painting, tile laying, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and schematic reading is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for various construction tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills
