Become a leader in nuclear power technology at Valar Atomics as a Controls Software Engineer. This role focuses on developing advanced control systems to support clean energy initiatives. You will join the agile Instrumentation & Controls Engineering team at Valar Atomics, where your expertise will directly impact nuclear fuel manufacturing.
Your tasks will encompass PLC programming, SCADA applications, and safety logic development, all while ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry norms. Take charge of technical leadership and guide junior engineers to achieve excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Program and maintain PLC/DCS applications using various platforms
- Configure and develop user-friendly SCADA applications
- Create and optimize HMI displays at both local and supervisory levels
- Oversee alarm management systems as per ISA-18.2 requirements
- Facilitate software FAT, SAT, and commissioning test plans Requirements:
- BS in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant experience in process industries
- Hands-on experience with major PLC platforms like Rockwell or Siemens
- Proven skills in SCADA systems and batch control software
