Chef / Prep Cook (Full-Time)

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Chef / Prep Cook to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Complete daily food prep efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Ensure proper food handling and food safety practices at all times.
- Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Help with catering and large-volume food production as required.

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a kitchen is required.
- Experience as both a chef and prep cook.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
- Valid FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate (required).
- Experience in hospitality, catering, restaurant, or institutional food service. (Would be a bonus)




- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (Preferred).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with high-volume meal production.
- Catering experience is an asset.
