The Prospect

Reporting to the Receiver (or his/her delegates), the Cooler Keeper is responsible for following FIFO concept, store incoming products to designated area in a timely manner. He/she will also be responsible for assisting Receiver to manage and execute activities like receiving, checking product quality, processing reports, returning products as well as assisting each section in raw material defrost and unbox.

You Will

- Comply with company food safety related regulations. Assist Receiver in managing receiving, quality inspection, temperature check and returning of products; store raw materials in appropriate areas in a timely manner and complete respective forms
- Responsible for managing raw material inventory. Perform daily safety inventory checks to ensure sufficient stock; Follow FIFO concept, rotate accordingly to minimize wastage of raw material (deterioration and spoilage)
- Retrieve respective ingredients according to production plan, assisting in unboxing and defrost process, ensure proper SOP is followed and the quantity and weight is accurate
- Ensure receiving machinery, equipment and working tools are properly operated and stored, report in a timely manner when damage is found
- Ensure dry/cooler/freezer areas are organized, clear, unblocked and safe
- Provide timely and effective help to staff members Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

You Should Have / Be

- Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends,



evening hours and statutory holidays
- Be prepared to stand for a long period of time, deal hands on with products and lifting of products of 40 pounds on a
- regular basis; Able to work in cooler/ freezer environment
- Possess valid Fork Lift or Pallet Jack license
- Have a good understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job and know how to interpret labels of merchandises
- Able to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset Possess knowledge in workplace health & safety
