We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our hospitality team. Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized host stand or reception area
Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with inquiries about the menu or services
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
Handle phone inquiries professionally,
providing information and taking reservations as needed
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the dining or hotel lobby area
Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless guest experiences
Skills
Robust guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Experience in serving, hospitality, or food service environments preferred
Knowledge of restaurant POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
Qualified appearance and demeanor suitable for hospitality environments
Previous hotel or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory
