In this pivotal role, you will manage security protocols for the GE Vernova Hitachi Small Modular Reactor business. Your responsibilities include evaluating Canadian and U.S. security requirements, establishing access controls, and ensuring compliance with nuclear safety regulations.
You’ll facilitate background checks and work closely with security design engineers to enhance safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate U.S. and Canadian nuclear security requirements
Establish physical security procedures at GVH facilities
Develop frameworks for information security interface
Oversee personnel security clearances and compliance
Serve as the Single Point of Contact for customers
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience
Minimum 5 years in nuclear security, including 3 years in management
Robust knowledge of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act
Eligible for Level II Security Clearance through CSIS
Ability to conduct in office assessments in Canada
Lead nuclear security initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing overall safety at GE Vernova in Canada.
