Part-Time Kitchen Assistant – Milton, ON

$20/hour | Part-time | Approximately 8 hours/week

We are a small, growing meal-prep and catering business operating from a professional commercial kitchen in Milton, Ontario.

We are looking for a reliable, clean and organized Kitchen Assistant to help with our food preparation and packing operations.

You don’t need to be a skilled cook — training will be provided.

Responsibilities
Basic vegetable and ingredient preparation
Portioning and assembling meals
Packing and labeling prepared meals
Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas
Organizing ingredients and supplies
Following food-safety and hygiene procedures
Assisting with general kitchen tasks as needed

We’re looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual
Clean, organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a qualified kitchen
Able to follow instructions carefully




Comfortable with repetitive food preparation and packing
Previous kitchen, catering, food-service or meal-prep experience is an asset
Food Handler Certificate is an asset

Schedule

4 days per week × 2 hours per day

Approximately 8 hours per week.

Exact days and times will be discussed based on availability.

Additional hours may become available as the business grows.

Pay

$20/hour
