Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and presentation while ensuring a clean and productive kitchen environment.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Help train recent kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in menu planning and development as needed.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.




Knowledge of Nigerian meals and cooking techniques is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals is essential.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
