Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Taper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to create smooth, professional walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform raw construction spaces into polished environments, contributing to the overall success of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse commercial and residential sites, where your craftsmanship will make a visible difference.

Duties
Apply joint compound (mud) to drywall seams, corners, and fasteners with precision and efficiency
Tape drywall joints using paper or fiberglass mesh tape for seamless finishes
Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishing work
Caulk gaps around trim, moldings, and fixtures to ensure airtight and visually appealing finishes
Read blueprints and construction drawings to accurately measure and position drywall components
Assist with basic carpentry tasks as needed to support drywall installation and finishing processes




Maintain a clean work workplace by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety protocols

Requirements
Proven experience in drywall taping, finishing, or related construction roles
Knowledge of construction painting, caulking, and general handyman skills
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
Robust carpentry skills and hands-on handyman experience are highly desirable
Construction experience in commercial or residential projects is preferred
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
