Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will be essential in navigating diverse delivery scenarios and handling freight efficiently. Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and cargo to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
Verify delivery details, complete necessary documentation, and obtain signatures upon successful delivery
Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the route




Assist with inventory management by inspecting freight for damage or discrepancies before loading and after unloading
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, ensuring readiness for daily operations

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery in a freight or warehouse environment
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for heavy equipment operation
Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road
Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed

Pay: $450.00-$500.00 per week
