Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Field Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment, including Construction and forestry machinery. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with schematics and computer programs.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including but not limited to Excavators, dozers, loaders, drilling, support compact, and other machinery
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and develop appropriate solutions
Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Operate heavy machinery as needed
Assist customers with equipment-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

-Handle customer interactions while maintaining respect and professionalism
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance measures
Weld and fabricate parts as necessary

Experience:
HD journeymen will be given preference





-3 years minimum working in field setting experience
Experience working with Construction/fortestry equipment or in a dealership setting is a necessity
Robust mechanical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
Experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes or forklifts
Electrical/Hydraulic knowledge
Experience with service advisor, ET, Insite preferred
Excellent customer service skills

Please note that this is a paid position. The salary will be commensurate with experience.
