Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Duties
Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and assist guests with selections through effective upselling techniques.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation practices during food handling and preparation.




Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure effective service flow and timely food preparation.
Assist in training recent staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service standards.

Qualifications
Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
