We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our female employer with Friedreich's Ataxia, with all activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, on time, and like cats.

Location:
Richmond, BC (Near Lansdowne Mall)

Shifts and Hours:
Thursday-Sunday
6:00pm-9:00pm
Ability to cover sick, vacation, and holiday shifts

Compensation
$22.00 per hour to start

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Assist woman w/disability in a power wheelchair.
Prepare or warm up meals and serve.
Help with exercises and do light chores.
Then assist with bed preparation.
Using portable lift, transfer into bed.

Qualifications:
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with the most recent booster (2025) required
Must be comfortable working in an setting with cats required
Experience with mechanical transfers required
Healthcare/caregiving experience an asset
Willingness to be trained required
Legally able to work in Canada required
Ability to cover sick, vacation, and holiday shifts highly preferred
Valuable command of English required
Being dependable and on time required
Living in Richmond is an asset
