Civil Construction Lead – Site Operations

Job Overview:
Blue Thunder Construction LTD is looking for an experienced Civil Construction Lead to join our growing operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone with a strong background in excavation, foundation work, and land development. You will be responsible for overseeing field crew and involving into the day-to-day site operations involving heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, rollers, screening equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise site crews working on excavation, grading, foundations, and topsoil applications.
Coordinate and manage equipment operations, including trucks, excavators, and loaders.
Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with design specifications.
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Enforce health and safety protocols on-site.
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control standards are met.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in civil construction, lead or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of excavation,



land preparation, foundation work, and soil management.
Ability to manage crews, schedules, and equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver's license; heavy equipment certifications are an asset.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
