Overview

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Food Warehouse Associates to join our team in Scarborough. This is a fast-paced food distribution workplace where employees are responsible for receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and preparing food products for customer orders and shipment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment. Previous warehouse or food-handling experience is an asset, but training can be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Pick and pack food products accurately according to customer orders.
Receive, unload, organize, and store food products and materials.
Check products for quantity, quality, packaging, and expiration dates.
Prepare customer orders for delivery and shipment.
Sort, label, and organize products in designated areas.
Maintain accurate product organization and report shortages or damaged products.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Safely handle boxes, cartons, and food products.
Work efficiently to meet daily order and productivity targets.
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.




Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
Perform other general warehouse and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a food warehouse, distribution, packaging, or general warehouse environment is an asset.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced and physically demanding environment.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Previous food-handling experience is an asset.
