Summary:

The Finish Grader operates self-propelled motor grader, with the skill to meet company productions and work within specified tolerances.

Main Responsibilities:
Positively participate in Goal Zero Initiative, including adhering to the Defined Activities as defined for their position.
Responsible for equipment checks and informing mechanics and supervisors of mechanical problems with the equipment.
Must be able to identify hazards on site.
Must be willing and able to learn general construction practices involving road construction.
Must have an understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
Have the ability to work in an implement protected work practices and contribute to a safe work workplace.

Skills/Knowledge:
Minimum 3 years of Grader operating experience.
Must have experience finishing road and stabilizing




Must be able to work in highly congested areas
Must be willing to do heavy intensive tasks/groundwork as required.
Willing to learn and take direction.
Must be able to communicate well with co-workers.
Must have a valid driver's license (class 5).
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must be physically able to perform all physical action pertinent to the equipment they operate.
Ability to meet and adhere to all safety requirements and applicable safety policies, including pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical testing.
Must maintain active membership with the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), Local 955.
