Aero Delivery Saskatoon has a immediate opening for a full time Truck and Trailer Mechanic at our shop Prairie Fleet Services Shop, The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience, with the ability to work on various types of vehicles and equipment. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Duties
Must be familiar with all aspects of all types of Transport trailers
Tire repair and change over considered an asset
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Perform scheduled maintenance service
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills
Diagnose faults and malfunctions
Inspect and test mechanical units
Test and adjust units to specifications
Area Of Specialization




Truck-trailer repair - Diesel Engines - Fuel and Emission Systems
Ignition and electrical systems - Standard Transmissions
AC, cooling and heating systems
Reefer Knowledge considered an assest
Welding Steel and aluminum Considered an asset
Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting various vehicle systems.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
Experience with welding is advantageous.
Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance practices.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
