Overview
West Street Willy’s Eatery is looking for an experienced cook to join our busy, family-owned restaurant. The right candidate would be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is required, safe food handling, creating specials and features, and culinary techniques. This position offers an excellent prospect to grow within the food service industry while contributing to a welcoming, friendly and qualified team.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food preparation
Creativity and freedom for different features and dishes
Cook meals efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
Serve customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment,



and dining areas
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with various kitchen tasks as needed

Experience
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen settings is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is a plus
Familiarity with meal preparation, cooking methods, and food presentation enhances performance in this role
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this position

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
