Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes, ensuring every plate meets our standards of freshness, presentation, and flavor. Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with attention to detail and consistency
Handle all food preparation tasks including slicing fish, assembling rolls, and garnishing plates
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure quality and cost efficiency
Assist in managing inventory levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage
Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently executing meal preparation tasks




Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures related to food handling and sanitation

Qualifications
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with sushi or Japanese cuisine expertise
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices in a kitchen setting
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety regulations is a plus
