You’ll work at the intersection of geoscience, data engineering, and scientific computing, supporting muon tomography, inversion, and end-to-end workflow development.You understand both geoscience and data science, write high-quality Python, and can work with complex models and datasets. You like automating and improving scientific workflows, use AI tools and modern development practices day to day, and collaborate well across science and software teams.Reporting to the Manager, Geosciences, you’ll partner with geoscientists, applied scientists, physicists, software developers, and data scientists to improve how geophysical and geological data are processed, managed, and analyzed across Ideon’s subsurface imaging workflows.You’ll optimize data pipelines, strengthen geoscience modelling notebooks, and bring AI-assisted workflows into Ideon’s scientific process.
