Join IMT and let’s shape the future together!Position SummaryThe Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering small to large size projects in IMT IT’s portfolio. This role manages cross-functional teams responsible for delivering project outputs on time, within budget, and with quality results. The Project Manager will plan, organize, monitor and oversee one or more enterprise projects to meet defined requirements and/or business specifications. It is their responsibility to take projects from original concept through final implementation. They will work closely with IT and business leaders to guide efforts toward achieving intended business outcomes.The Project Manager also ensures appropriate management, customer, and partner involvement through the life of the project including reporting to Steering Committees and Senior Leadership.This role establishes, builds, and strengthens key relationships within the business and key vendors, and works closely with Business Analysts to manage the demand from various IMT Business Units.About YouRelationship-driven and customer-focused, with a strong commitment to building long-term partnershipsComfortable working in a fast paced, operational or manufacturing environmentCurious by nature and skilled at asking the right questions to understand customer needsAble to clearly communicate value and solutions to a wide range of audiencesOrganized and self-directed, with strong time, territory, and pipeline management skillsAccountable for results and comfortable working towards targets and objectivesResilient and adaptable, maintaining a positive attitude through challengesCollaborative team player who works effectively with internal teams to deliver on customer commitmentsActs with integrity, professionalism, and transparency in all interactionsEducation & ExperienceDegree or diploma (post-secondary),
relevant industry experience, and/or related certifications.ITIL 4 Foundations, CAPM (have or in progress)PMP5+ years’ experience in IT Project Management leading projects through their entire lifecycle, leading functional teams and meeting milestones.ResponsibilitiesCreate a project workplace that enables peak performance by all team members, and successfully deliver all assigned projects, within a matrix structureProject Management subject matter expert for processes and best practices, and participates in driving the continuous development of IMT’s program/project planning, scheduling, resource management practicesMaintain a high level of quality in project management processes and deliver all required project artifacts including but not limited to:Project Plan including a comprehensive Work Breakdown StructureRisk, Action, Issue, Decision (RAID) LogStatus and Steering Committee ReportsProject Closeout and Lessons Learned RegisterProactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with all stakeholders to reassess and/or amend the scope of work, budget, and timelineResponsible for vendor and procurement management process related to projectEffectively represent project at meetings with IT and Business Unit leaders ensuring priorities are communicated and understood, and that progress, delays, issues, and risks are reportedManage IT communications, training, and organizational change management plans for internal and external stakeholdersPerform analysis of business user needs, understanding and documenting requirements, current and future state processes,
and translating into system requirements specificationsUtilize broad IT knowledge and their knowledge of the IMT Business to implement IT solutions that reflect the functionality necessary to address business goals and objectivesProvide input into project proposals or business case, including financial analysis, cost estimates, and cost/benefit for each solution optionDevelop test strategies, plans and scripts, and execute and document tests of technology solutionsAdhere to IMT’s ITSM Change Management process and security protocolsSkillsDemonstrated ability to manage 2 or more low to high complexity projects in parallelFamiliar with project management methodologyHighly developed interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to build and influence teams in a matrix environment to drive resultsAbility to effectively plan and facilitate meetingsAbility to build strong relationships and remain calm and constructive when conflicts ariseIdentifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize disruptionsCoaching, guiding and motivating teams to meet project goalsAnalyzing data, evaluating risks and making timely decisionsReprioritizing tasks quickly and adapting to changing conditionsKnowledge of managing and reporting projects using digital technologies such as Freshservice, Microsoft Project, or other digital Project Management toolsIf you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on exciting challenges, we invite you to join our dynamic team!Your interest in this opportunity is appreciated.
