We are a Canadian Footwear company that specializes in children’s and adult licensed footwear. We are located in Ville Saint-Laurent with easy access from public transport. We are looking for a designer proficient in Adobe illustrator with experience in the apparel industry. Candidate must speak English and must understand the industry and design terms in English.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
DEC, AEC or equivalent in fashion or graphic design.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop in a Mac workplace.
Working knowledge of footwear commodities is an asset.
Must have fashion flare and be able to adapt to current footwear trends.
Must have a very solid attention to detail.
Must be a team player
Knowledge of textiles,
Understanding of seasonal colors, cultural trends
English proficiency

The following are the daily tasks:
Responsible for developing art concepts for men's, women's and children's footwear
Create technical sketches and tech packs to send to suppliers in Asia.




Create flat sketches and presentation boards to present to customers.
Communicate with factories overseas on a daily basis to ensure the quality and accuracy in the design of every collection.
Develop seasonal mood boards to keep to date with trends for different commodities.
Knowledge of social media is an asset.
